BOATS and PLANES.
I have placed invisible track around the coast and estuary and along the canal to Exeter. At present track has been set at -7m, but track set at 0m will also be used to allow the newer types of boats to operate. All trackmarks for sailing craft will be listed under the same heading Water for easy selection. Ive also created some passenger loading areas at various landing places so that boats can be driven to them and load/unload passengers.
A second invisible track has been placed for the use of aircraft. This basicaly goes down one side of the route and back on the otherside, a couple of deviations have been put in, this will give a general view of the whole route. Like the boats all trackmarks have been listed under Air, Air1 and Air2 for ease of use.
STATIONS.
Nearly all stations are passenger active, Exeter St David's, Exeter Central and Exminster have been spiecialy made as complete station units. Newton Abbot station has active platform track at each end to allow for travel in any direction or for two short trains to use the same platform. All trains heading north would use the platform with "n" after it and those going south the "s".. All other stations either have "up" or "dn" after them depending on direction of travel. I have tested the station with jetstreamsky's steam trains as they take longest to slow and stop. The bigger stations will be spiecialy created as time goes on.
INDUSTRIES.
The layout has some active industries mostly around Heathfield. Logs from Christow, Lumber, fuel and goods at Heathfield and goods at Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Exeter St David's, Exeter Central, Marsh Barton and Exmouth. Multiple industry track at Exeter Riverside yard (3), Exmouth docks (4), Haven Banks, Christow, Moretonhampstead (2), Bovey Tracey, Newton Abbot (3), Teignmouth docks, Teignmouth and Dawlish, Brickworks at Exmouth Junction.
